• Izabel P. McDonald exclusively represents management in employment law matters before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. Izabel litigates a full range of claims asserted by employees, including discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge and whistleblower complaints, as well as disputes involving restrictive covenants and breach of contract and various tort claims.

    In addition to litigation, Izabel regularly counsels clients on workplace issues, including compliance with federal laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and Title VII, as well as state and city human rights laws and wage and hour laws. She also conducts investigations on various employment matters. Izabel advises clients on issues arising out of hiring, compensation and termination, and drafts and negotiates agreements, including employment, separation and restrictive covenant agreements. She also assists with the design and implementation of workplace policies and practices, and counsels on employee relations matters.
