• Irene Weintraub assists in the representation of clients in civil litigation, arbitrations and investigations. As a member of litigation teams, Irene works on all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial.

    Most recently, Irene assisted with the investigation of a shareholder derivative claim, which included factual development, witness interviews and legal analysis. In another recent case, Irene played a key role on the trial team that secured a favorable defense verdict for a client in the damages phase of a Lanham Act false advertising claim, drafting pre- and post-trial motions and briefs, assisting in large-scale document review and other discovery, second-chairing depositions, preparing witness statements and cross-examination outlines, and handling trial preparation and day-to-day trial triage. She also recently assisted with the representation of a foreign company in an international arbitration concerning breach of contract claims, in which she drafted pleadings, legal briefs, memoranda, letters and witness statements, as well as planned for and assisted at arbitration hearings.

    Irene dedicates significant time to pro bono work, particularly in the areas of asylum law, family law and reproductive rights
