Kramer Levin advised Ace Management, via Ace’s Brienne III fund, in the context of the first fundraising of 20 million euros for TEHTRIS, a French publisher of cybersecurity solutions and a European technological leader in the fight against cyber espionage and cyber sabotage. Ace Management, the European private equity leader in digital security, was accompanied by Open CNP, the Corporate Venture fund of CNP Assurances; Nouvelle-Aquitaine Co-Investissement (NACO); and angel investors.
TEHTRIS develops and markets an XDR (extended detection and response) platform capable of detecting and neutralizing, in real time and in an automated manner, known and unknown digital threats in corporate infrastructures.
The large-scale deployment of teleworking in response to the health context and the migration to the cloud have amplified certain IT vulnerabilities and imposed new security and resilience requirements on companies. Cybersecurity players are thus fighting against a sharp increase in aggression and attacks, with a real asymmetry between offensive and defensive capabilities.
In response to new threats that bypass traditional security mechanisms, the products, algorithms, software robots and artificial intelligence coded by TEHTRIS engineers are positioned at the heart of its TEHTRIS XDR Platform. With this platform, TEHTRIS and its international partners monitor millions of IP addresses in more than 60 countries and analyze billions of events each week. TEHTRIS customers are major players in industry, engineering and services, sometimes using sensitive or even critical infrastructures.
