A federal district judge in Los Angeles has dismissed a $100-million lawsuit against Kramer Levin client Al Haymon, a prominent figure in the boxing world. The plaintiff, Top Rank Inc., had alleged that Al Haymon and his companies sought to monopolize the U.S. market for boxing management and promotions. The court dismissed the case on October 16, ruling among other things that Top Rank “failed to allege how it has been injured by the alleged conduct.”
The decision was covered by the Los Angeles Times and ESPN.
