Kramer Levin is pleased to announce the arrival of Alexandre Omaggio, who joins the firm as a partner in the Corporate department in Paris.
Alexandre represents clients on private equity, mergers and acquisitions transactions, and securities law. He advises investment funds in their investments as well as growing companies in the context of their fundraising operations. In M&A, he works with both listed and emerging-growth companies in the context of their operations and strategic investments in France and abroad. In securities law, he advises issuers and private equity firms on stock market transactions, including initial public offerings, tender offers and squeeze-outs, and in matters of corporate governance. In recent months, he notably has advised on the following transactions: ACE Management (Tikehau Capital group), in its investments in Egérie and Quarkslab; the fundraising of Ligna EnR (Biosylva) from Omnes Capital; the sale of Brennus Analytics to the German group Pricefx; and the Michelin squeeze-out on SIPH.
Before joining Kramer Levin, Alexandre worked for eight years as a partner at FTPA. Previously, he was an associate at Sullivan and Cromwell LLP, where his tenure included one year in the firm’s New York office. Alexandre is distinguished in the Best Lawyers 2021 ranking in the M&A category.
Alexandre is admitted to the bars of Paris and New York. He holds a master’s in business law/DESS-DJCE from the University of Panthéon-Assas – Paris II, a DEA in private law from the University of Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne and an LL.M. from Columbia University.
