Bankruptcy and Restructuring partner Rachael Ringer has been selected as one of 2020’s Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers by Turnarounds & Workouts, one of only 12 lawyers nationwide chosen for this honor.
Some of the notable transactions over the past year that Rachael was recognized for include her role in representing the creditors’ committee of Boy Scouts of America; and an ad hoc committee of 10 states attorney general, 6 municipalities, the Plaintiffs Executive Committee in the MDL litigation, and a federally recognized Native American Tribe in the bankruptcy cases of Purdue Pharma LP. Rachael was also recognized for her successful representation of creditors’ committees in the Aegerion Pharmaceuticals and Hexion Inc. cases. She also advised Brigade Capital Management, a holder of Nine West secured and unsecured debt, which later became one of the largest holders of equity in the reorganized company upon emergence.
