Kramer Levin Wins Award at 3rd Annual ACG/M&A Advisor New York Champion Awards

Kramer Levin won the ACG Award for Consumer and Retail Products Deal of the Year Up to $200MM for its representation of Automobile Protection Corporation (APCO), a portfolio company of a fund managed by Stone Point Capital, in its acquisition of GWC Warranty Corporation and certain affiliates from CIVC Partners. The award was given at the 3rd Annual ACG/M&A Advisor New York Champion Awards on June 20. The awards honor outstanding achievements in the middle market M&A industry in the New York Region. The Kramer Levin team that worked on the acquisition portion of the deal included Corporate partners Howard T. Spilko and Ernest S. Wechsler and associates Amanda Webber and Daniel Brody; Tax partner Barry Herzog; Intellectual Property counsel Kevin M. Moss; and Employee Benefits special counsel Avram J. Cahn.
