Kramer Levin is pleased to announce that dealmaker Colin Bumby is joining the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity practices as a partner in New York.
Mr. Bumby represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies and public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-outs, complex investments, strategic partnerships and joint ventures. Mr. Bumby has represented principal parties in M&A transactions totaling more than $45 billion in the aggregate.

Mr. Bumby joins Kramer Levin from McGuireWoods LLP, where he was a partner. He began his career at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he was an associate and counsel for 11 years. He earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. with honors from Wesleyan University.
