Mark P. Ramsey is joining Kramer Levin’s New York office as a partner in its Corporate practice.
For more than two decades, Mark has structured and negotiated complex syndicated, club and direct lending financing transactions on behalf of both borrowers and lenders, with a focus on leveraged buyouts, in- and out-of-court restructurings, dividend recapitalizations, asset-based loans and other corporate financing transactions. Mark’s client base includes private equity funds and their portfolio companies, public and private operating companies, commercial and investment banks, direct lenders and other financial institutions. His experience includes secured and unsecured, mezzanine, and subordinated financing transactions, as well as debtor-in-possession and exit facilities. He also has significant experience with Rule 144A offerings, convertible financings and bespoke financing transactions for development-stage companies. Mark has particular sector expertise in financial services, real estate, health care, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, energy, chemicals, technology, media and entertainment.
Mark joins Kramer Levin from another Am Law 100 firm, where he was a partner. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, an M.S. in Spanish linguistics from Georgetown University and his B.A. from Indiana University with high distinction. Mark is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is fluent in five languages.
