Kramer Levin Selected as Counsel to Unsecured Creditors Committee of Brazos Electric Power Cooperative Inc.
Kramer Levin has been selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Brazos Electric Power Cooperative Inc. (Brazos). Brazos is a non-profit electric cooperative corporation that is a wholesale provider of electricity for its 16 member cooperatives and one municipal area, whose service area covers roughly 20% of Texas. Brazos sought Chapter 11 protection in federal court in United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on March 1, 2021.
