Kramer Levin’s Win for Finjan Named One of Daily Journal’s Top Verdicts of 2015

Kramer Levin’s patent infringement win on behalf of client Finjan Inc. against Blue Coat Systems was named one of the Daily Journal’s Top Verdicts of 2015. In Aug. 2015, a California jury returned a unanimous verdict that Blue Coat had literally infringed four Finjan patents and had infringed a fifth patent under the doctrine of equivalents. The jury awarded Finjan $39.5 million in compensatory damages. The Finjan team was led by partners Paul J. Andre, Lisa Kobialka and James Hannah and included associates Hannah Lee, Kristopher B. Kastens, Michael H. Lee, Benu Mehra Wells, Aakash Jariwala, Cristina Martinez, Austin Manes, Nobumasa Hiroi and Yuridia Caire.
