Kramer Levin Represents Funds in $4.65 Billion Argentina Bond Litigation Settlement
Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel represented the funds managed by Elliott Management, Davidson Kempner and Bracebridge Capital in the settlement of their 15-year dispute with the Republic of Argentina. The settlement was announced Monday by Special Master Daniel Pollack. Kramer Levin was brought in to serve as settlement counsel for the funds in addition to the group of law firms that represent the funds in the litigation. Kramer Levin is continuing to represent the funds in connection with the implementation and funding of the settlement currently contemplated to take place in April. The Kramer Levin team is led by Kenneth H. Eckstein and includes Gary P. Naftalis, Abbe L. Dienstag and Jeffrey Taylor.
