The new partners are members of the firm’s Corporate, Intellectual Property and Real Estate practices, respectively, and reside in the firm’s New York and Silicon Valley offices.

Scott A. Abramowitz — Corporate, New York
Scott Abramowitz advises clients on corporate matters, in particular private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Mr. Abramowitz has broad experience representing financial sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic buyers, in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, growth equity financings and other investment transactions. Among his most notable work, he represents Stone Point Capital and its Trident funds in numerous acquisitions, dispositions and joint venture transactions. He has also advised Quad Partners in numerous equity investment transactions as well as many acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Abramowitz earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Kristopher B. Kastens — Intellectual Property, Silicon Valley
Kristopher Kastens focuses his practice on patent litigation involving the computer, electrical and mechanical arts. He represents clients in a variety of technology areas, including application software, network infrastructure, computer security, wireless networks and mobile operating systems. Notably, he has been an important team member on multiple trials in the computer security space that have resulted in favorable jury verdicts for clients. Mr. Kastens earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering, with honors, from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
Justin R. Quinn — Real Estate, New York
Justin Quinn represents commercial real estate lenders, investors and other providers of capital at all levels of the capital stack, from origination through maturity, including restructurings and workouts. He has represented both originators and purchasers in various types of secondary market transactions. Mr. Quinn has broad experience representing owners and developers in commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, financing and disposition of office, retail and hospitality properties. His work includes complex financings on both a regional and a national scale. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.
