Kramer Levin client Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. completed on July 7 the spin-off of its unit Vishay Precision Group, Inc., or VPG. Vishay announced its decision to spin off its unit VPG to create two separate companies on June 16.
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is a manufacturer of discrete semiconductors. VPG manufactures resistive foil technology products such as resistive sensors, weighing modules and control systems for a wide variety of applications.
The Kramer Levin team was led by Corporate partners Scott Rosenblum and Ernest S. Wechsler. The other members of the team were Banking and Finance partner David J. Fisher and Corporate associate Steven Segal.
In the transaction, J.P. Morgan acted as financial adviser to Vishay.
