Kramer Levin Client Scientific Games Enters Agreement to Sell Scientific Games Racing to Sportech Plc
Kramer Levin client Scientific Games Corporation announced on January 27 that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Racing and Venue Management businesses ("Scientific Games Racing") to U.K.-based Sportech Plc in a transaction valued at approximately $75 million.
Leading the Kramer Levin team were Corporate partner Peter G. Smith with associates Robert J. Wollin and Adam H. Price. Also involved were partners Howard J. Rothman (Tax) and Christine Lutgens (Employee Benefits), counsel Kevin M. Moss (Intellectual Property) and special counsel Helayne Oberman Stoopack (Tax).
