Kramer Levin confirms the growth momentum of its Restructuring and Litigation & White-Collar Crime practices with the election of Dominique Penin as a partner, to work alongside Christian Orengo and Julien Martinet (partners), as well as Marie-Christine Fournier-Gille (counsel).
With a practice focusing on business law, Dominique Penin (42) primarily handles cases involving banking, bankruptcy and white-collar criminal law. He also represents clients involved in civil litigation, particularly with regard to inheritance and family law issues.
He holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) in General Private Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (1993) and has been a member of the litigation department of the Paris office since 1996.
"I am delighted to be elected partner at Kramer Levin. This promotion is the culmination of years of work, and reflects the values shared with my partners: a culture of excellence in the legal practice, and, by combining both counseling and litigation, offering our clients the benefit of our experience in both disciplines", comments Dominique Penin.
"Dominique’s promotion to partnership is part of our strategy to strengthen our expertise in Restructuring and White-Collar Crime, which we have been developing for years within French and international groups, and perfectly exemplifies our firm’s core requirements: client proximity, international experience and practice excellence. We are pleased that Dominique has found, in Kramer Levin, a firm that enabled him to fully contribute to the development of cohesive team for over fifteen years now", explains Alexander Marquardt, managing partner of the Paris office.
The Paris office has approximately 40 lawyers, now including 15 partners.
