On 30 November 2012, the Polish group Unia acquired Agrisem, a company located in Ligné (France).
Agrisem is a pulled agricultural equipment manufacturer specializing in no-tillage.
Unia, a European privately owned group leader in the agricultural tool industry with four plants and a total turnover around €120 million, was convinced by Agrisem’s innovative solutions and patented tools.
Unia intends to bring Agrisem to a benchmark brand name outside France on the markets where Unia thrives and, reciprocally, to benefit from the domestic network of Agrisem and to help its own products penetrate the important French agricultural market.
On the legal aspects of this deal, Agrisem was advised by Kramer Levin, with a team led by Antoine Paszkiewicz (partner) assisted by Ramona Tudorancea. This transaction is part of the development of a specific expertise of Kramer Levin’s Paris office in French-Polish relations.
