Gary Naftalis Honors Marvin Frankel with a Tribute in the Columbia Law Review

The November 2002 issue of the Columbia Law Review was dedicated to former Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel name partner Marvin Frankel.

Dedicating an issue of the Law Review to an individual is an unusual event reserved only for great and renowned professors and jurists. Frankel, a respected teacher, judge, scholar and litigator, plainly deserves this recognition. The issue contains tributes written by Judge Wilfred Feinberg, Professors Jack Greenberg, Louis Henkin and Arthur Murphy and Kramer Levin Litigation Department Head Gary Naftalis.

In his tribute, Naftalis reflects on the many years he knew Frankel, starting with his time as Frankel's student at Columbia University, as Assistant U.S. Attorney arguing before Judge Frankel, and finally as Frankel's partner at Kramer Levin.
