• Margot H. Usdan serves as the chief financial officer and a managing director of Kramer Levin. In this role, she directs the firm’s accounting and finance operations and is responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, partnership tax filings, partner accounts, cash management, treasury, accounts payable, billing and collections, escrow administration, and payroll functions. Margot participates in the firm’s strategic financial planning efforts and is a member of the firm’s Finance Committee. She leads a team of 30 professionals and staff and collaborates on the development and implementation of new financial systems.

    A certified public accountant, Margot has a long tenure in law firm financial management. She has spent more than 30 years at Kramer Levin building the financial operations and accounting systems to accommodate the firm’s growth as well as the expansion of the Paris and Silicon Valley offices and the acquisition of numerous lateral partner groups.

    Margot serves as a volunteer career and placement adviser/mentor to recent graduates of her alma mater, Boston University, Questrom School of Business.
