Jessica Shub works on Litigation matters.
Jessica returns to Kramer Levin after participating in the firm’s Summer Associate program in both 2022 and 2023. Throughout her time in law school Jessica participated in the Duke Immigrant and Refugee Project, advocating for families facing removal procedures in Charlotte Immigration Court through the Pro Se Asylum Defensive Project and facilitating the Duke Afghan Asylum Project, helping Afghan asylees prepare I-589s and gathering country conditions documents. She also participated in the Duke Law Immigrant Rights Clinic, where she secured asylum for her client, and volunteered with the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Southeast Immigrant Freedom Initiative (SIFI), providing pro bono assistance to detained immigrants seeking release from immigration jail. Jessica also worked on the Mapping Sexual Violence Project through the Coalition Against Gendered Violence, researching and comparing rape victim assistance programs and crime victim compensation in Virginia and Florida for the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
