• Danielle L. Jackson serves as Assistant Managing Attorney for the firm. A member of the managing attorney’s department, Danielle assists with all of the department’s functions, including advising litigators on civil procedure in both state and federal courts, and working with the department staff on filings, service of process, litigation tracking and calendaring for the firm. 

    Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Danielle served as a senior management attorney for the nonprofit organization Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, which provides public defender legal services. She previously worked in the New York State Court System as a law clerk and as Principal Court Attorney to Supreme Court judges in both New York and Kings Counties. Danielle began her legal career as a public defender at The Legal Aid Society in New York. She is a lecturer at Columbia Law School, and currently teaching a class on Criminal Trial Practice.
