• Borna Khoshand works on real estate matters, assisting in the representation of clients in real estate transactions, including purchases and sales, joint ventures, commercial leases and debt financings on behalf of both lenders and borrowers. Borna’s work involves drafting and negotiating transactional documents, conducting due diligence, and coordinating closing and post-closing activities.

    Some of Borna’s most recent work includes assisting, as a member of the transaction teams, Property Markets Group in obtaining mortgage and mezzanine construction loans to finance new developments in Miami and Fort Lauderdale; Brookfield Property Group with acquisitions in the multifamily, mixed-use and self-storage asset classes; a film company with the acquisition of a value-add performance space in Greenwich Village; and Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. in a number of joint venture development deals across the country. He has also assisted with office and retail leases and subleases on behalf of the owners and tenants of commercial buildings nationwide.

    Borna also dedicates time to pro bono services, with a focus on assisting tenants with retail leases in New York City.
