• Adrian Diaz advises purchasers, sellers, developers, investors, borrowers, lenders, and other clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, equity investments, and debt financings involving a variety of property asset classes such as mixed-use, multifamily, industrial, retail, office and hospitality. Adrian also advises on real estate-related matters in connection with corporate transactions and financings. Adrian’s work includes drafting and negotiating transactional documents as well as performing substantive due diligence in connection with a wide variety of transactional documents.

    Adrian’s recent work includes representing the investor in the formation of a joint venture for the acquisition and $163 million development of an approximately 2.10 acre project in Dallas, Texas; securing a $105 million loan for the construction of a luxury residential rental complex in New York; representing the purchaser in the acquisition of a multi-purpose lab and life sciences facility of approximately 224,000 square feet; facilitating the $162 million recapitalization and redemption of membership interests in a joint venture; assisting an alternative asset manager in the issuance of a term loan for the corporate refinancing of a public company with real estate collateral across multiple states; and representing the investor in the formation of a joint venture and the related acquisition financing for the purchase and development of an industrial building in New Jersey.

    Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Adrian worked with the real estate practices of a number of national and multinational firms.
