• Zachary B. Fields advises on intellectual property matters, in particular the protection and enforcement of trademarks, for a variety of clients. Zachary prepares and prosecutes domestic and international trademarks, conducts trademark clearance searches, provides risk assessments, and counsels on trademark and copyright use and enforcement. He maintains and evaluates trademark portfolios, strategizing with large and small businesses to protect their brand and maximize the protection of their trademarks. Zachary handles adversarial matters, working with clients to secure effective and practical solutions. He also advises on intellectual property transactions, marketing law, nondisclosure agreements, privacy policies and terms of use.

    Zachary brings more than 10 years of experience in trademark transactions, enforcement and litigation to his work on behalf of clients. Prior to joining Kramer Levin, he served as general counsel for a high-growth menswear brand, handling the company’s legal matters, including those involving trademarks, marketing and privacy. Zachary also worked as an associate with a New York-based boutique business law firm, advising early-stage entities on intellectual property matters, and with the New York office of a Dallas-based litigation firm, working on complex commercial litigation.
